Day 102 - Thursday

2. Vocab- finish your chart for words 4-6

    Rest of the chapter is on YOU
4. PROJECT: Capitalism: Corporate Bad Behavior
    -Today you should be finding pictures for WeVideo
    -You should also begin recording some of the parts for your video
    For now...let's assume you will have class time through Friday 

HW: Final Draft for "Americans Greedy" writing assessment Due FRIDAY
         Gatsby: Chapter one QUIZ on FRIDAY (if you take notes on paper while reading, you may use them)

    You have 10 more minutes to type/revise from your rough draft
5. PROJECT: Capitalism: Corporate Bad Behavior
    -Today you should FINISH answering the questions in the document
    -Tomorrow you should be ready to work with WeVideo

HW: 1- RESEARCH- you need to have all your research for the project (we are starting with WEVIDEO tomorrow)
        2- FINAL DRAFT "American's Greedy" Writing Assessment DUE Friday

Day 99 - Monday

1. SSR
2. SAT Prep- Possessive Determiners
3. Final Draft- type out your final draft on your "Greedy" document.  If you have not submitted a rough draft, you cannot type a final copy.
3. PROJECT: Capitalism: Corporate Bad Behavior
    -Today you should answer the questions provided in the document from yesterday
    By the end of class tomorrow you should be almost done with your research 
    (filling out the document)

Day 98-Friday

1. Book Log (you should already have this).  Book talk will be on March 6th
2. SAT Prep: Possessive determiners
3. Begin The Great Gatsby
    Here are the three themes we will investigate
            1- attaining/not attaining the American Dream
            2- the past affects the future
            3- shallow/rude/irresponsible/dishonest behavior of the wealthy
4. Capitalism: Corporate Bad Behavior
    -Today you should definitely pick the company
    -Take sometime to learn about the company READ!!!
    -Begin to answer the questions provided in the document from yesterday
    YOU are working on this project as a group to answer the questions in the Doc!

Day 97-Thursday

2. Vocab 
    You will read your situation examples from Tuesday to the table.  They will figure out which is the example and which is the non-example.  You will do all 3 words then go to the next person.
3. FINISH Reading "Basics of Industrialization
    -All highlighted words should be defined/reexplained in the margins!!
4. Capitalism: Corporate Bad Behavior
   A. Students read about the "Triangle Shirtwaist Company Fire"
   B. Video about the fire
   C. We explain THE PROJECT
   D. Students take about 15 min to research a modern day company
   E. GET STARTED!
