This reading is a full article, the link is the the document you already have a copy!
Here's what I want you to do....ready???....I want a simple 8-10 sentence summary of this article.  Pick out the main points and summarize!! Type it right in the document!

NOW at this point you should have the first three readings all highlighted and the fourth one you have a summary....I WILL start grading these during Spring Break.  So consider the entire document due on the Monday we start Spring Break (March 30th)
Make sure the document is in your English Folder!!!

  • Read and annotate the article
I know that period 9/10 does not have their book (thanks lazy printing company).  Therefore, I found a digital copy of the book to help you.  Also, I gave a little summary of each chapter in order to help expedite your evidence finding.


Here is a summary of the chapters:
1- Intro to the characters as well as East and West Egg
2- Tom and Myrtle's party in the apartment
3- Nick goes to Gatsby's Party
4- Nick and Gatsby go to lunch and meet Wolfsheim and Jordan tells Nick about Daisy and Gatsby
5- Gatsby ad Daisy's date
6- Past about Dan Cody and Tom and Daisy go to Gatsby's party
7- The hotel and Myrtle is killed
8- Wilson kills Gatsby
